This free newsletter is dedicated to delivering news and updates about events and activities organized by Create with Swift and the imaginary institute in Naples, Italy.
Hey there, Apple Developer Community! The sun is back (or is it?), and so are our events! Here are some updates on what happened since the previous newsletter and what’s coming next. Enjoy!
Previous events
Napoli Meetup #3 was a blast!
It happened! Our first meetup with community speakers took place on April 17th at Spazio Tra in the city center of Naples, and it was a fantastic event.
More than 50 people from all over the region and from other parts of Italy attended to watch Sofia, Bruna, Fabio, Oreste, Alessandro, and Marco share their experiences of experimenting, learning, developing, designing, and working within the Apple world.
As part of our support for our speakers, we provided mentoring calls to assist them in preparing their presentations. During these calls, we discuss the topics they intend to cover and explore different angles they can approach. It was a pleasure to be a part of their process, and we can’t wait to see their growth and evolution from now on. Perhaps we’ll even see them delivering captivating speeches at future conferences across the globe!
If you couldn’t join us this time, don’t worry… There will be more coming in the near future!
Beer with Swift - May 2025
Our May 2025 Beer with Swift event took place on the 15th, starting at 19:00, at Tappò Tapas Bar (Via Mezzocannone, 37, 80134 Napoli NA). It rained, but that was not enough to keep the local developer community from meeting.
It was also the first time we used Apple Invites, and it worked pretty well! We will keep using it for future events, since it has all the info you need in one place! We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming newcomers for our future evening of discussions, networking, and fun!

Beer with Swift - WWDC 2025 Edition
We are going to WWDC! Or at least some of us are going. How about grabbing a beer with fellow developers?
Don’t miss the chance to keep the excitement going beyond the mothership, join us in Cupertino on the 10th of June for a special WWDC25 edition of our Create Beer with Swift! This is your chance to connect with fellow Swift enthusiasts, discuss Apple's latest innovations, and explore all the exciting WWDC announcements while sipping beers in good company and sharing our passion for Apple development.

Napoli Meetup #4
June is a special month for the Apple developer and designer community. WWDC is packed with announcements and dictates the future of Apple's platforms. We are working hard to build on that excitement, preparing for the next meetup to happen once the WWDC week is over.
