Weekly Newsletter Issue 122
Weekly newsletter summing up our publications and showcasing app developers and their amazing creations.
Welcome to this week's edition of our newsletter.
iPhone Duo preorders haven't even opened yet, and the community is already busy adapting apps for the new form factor and building new ones that lean into everything it enables. One that caught our eye in particular comes from Vidit, who brings back the Walkman experience in all its analog charm on Apple's new foldable:
Duo-Man offers the complete walkman experience on the iPhone Duo. Open the Duo to pick and 'insert' the cassette, Close the Duo to start listening.

Yes, I actually recorded the button clicks and static noise from a real Walkman!
It was fun making this at @bitrig hacks today. pic.twitter.com/juSrLhofrH

Indie App of the Week
Nachoz
Picking what to watch tonight has gotten harder with new releases that land in theaters and an increasing number of different streaming services. Before you've settled on something, there's usually a different title you meant to add to a list somewhere and never did.
Nachoz, developed by Mohamed, goes beyond just logging what you watch. Each title's page pulls trailers, ratings, and streaming availability around the poster, so you can decide at a glance instead of digging through tabs, and searching in plain language, a mood, or a genre gets you a recommendation instead of a filter list. Every upcoming episode sits on one calendar, and a year of watching turns into stats without hunting for them.

The month of September is special for us, since it's when we celebrate the anniversary of our local meetup here in Naples, Italy. We came back from summer in style by hosting a RevenueCat Shipaton IRL event.
We had a great time with members of our local community, and it was great to see them coming up with crazy ideas for projects they could work on and sharing what they are working on with each other.

And this week we hosted the Napoli Developer Meetup #10! The tenth one! We had the pleasure of hosting Bruna Avellar's talk, "Designed to Trick You: How Designers Shape Your Decisions". With examples, she touched on many points covered by Giselle in the article "Building for hate: Designing for deception".

If you are interested in our future events, subscribe to our calendar on Luma, and see you very soon!
We can’t wait to see what you will Create with Swift.
See you next week!
